I have only seen the first part but it really resonates with my soul. I am particularly drawn to the line of connecting with God as I have connected with culture. I think it was Henri Nouwen who called us to be aware of the temptation to be relevant over obedient to the call of God. I find that if I do not focus on drawing close to God, I get intoxicated with the challenge to connect with culture. Yet when I have drawn close to God, I find myself risking greater vulnerability to those around me regardless of the context.
