Steven Berglass, professor of psychology at Harvard, has written an entertaining but also seriously provoking article on the difference between workaholics who think they should start a business and the true entrepreneur. I think his humpty dumpty analysis of the workaholic applies to ministry and the allure of church planting. Not every hard working minister is a church planter. A few months ago I posted the question in the Cityview facebook group, “How do you feel about church as a big-screen experience?” Here is story of a church wrestling with the decision of multi-site or big screen, or something else. My predisposition is toward the multiplied creation of local congregations, so I suppose that is why I like this story so much.
