Craig O’Brien blogs here. Born in New York, raised in Georgia, he and his family have lived in Vancouver, BC since 1994. He is married to Ellen and they have three kids who have all been born in Vancouver. Craig and Ellen moved here to follow Jesus and invest themselves in the city.
Craig and Ellen both graduated from the University of Georgia and from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. In 2003 Craig graduated from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary with a Doctorate of Ministry. He focused on raising cross-cultural competence in leaders for the urban multi-cultural congregation.
Craig has transitioned from the lead at Cityview where he and his wife have served since 1994. Since September 2010 his family have been sharing the Gospel and serving people in the campus community of the University of British Columbia to begin a new church called, Origin.
